FIRST TIME ON MALAYSIAN KTM ETS TRAIN (+ Rapid Ferry, Penang Hill & Chinese Jetty) | Malaysia Travel

Today we explored Penang city a little more by taking the Funicular to the top of Penang Hill to take in the beautiful view of Penang Island, as well as enjoying one of the lovely walks through the rainforest. We then ventured to the Chinese Clan Jetty to take a look at this old and interesting community. We decided really last minute to head to Taiping after Penang (rather than Ipoh). To get there, we first had to take the rapid ferry over to Butterworth and then hurried to catch the only available KTM train going to Taiping. This was our first time on a Malaysian KTM ETS train, and we loved it!
