In this version of my descent I will be taking Zell with me into the depths of the deep sea research facility.
As in the previous episode, the point of this quest is to get from the top to the bottom via steam powered doors. These doors requiring a set amount of steam to allow access to the bottom with 10 points remaining. Technically easier this time around though.
So as you go further in, use the following amounts to progress:
Level 2: 1 point
Level 3: 1 point
Level 4: 1 point
Level 5: 1 point
Now here is where Zell comes into play, on level 6 instead of using 4 points, he'll offer to 'help' with the machine responsible for opening the doors to the base levels. Before accepting his help be aware that letting him 'help' with cause random encounters regardless of Encounter None being equipped. With that in mind make your choice and descend into the depths.
The kind of enemies you fight will change depending on with floor you're on. Tri-Face is on the first floor. Grendel and Imps on the second, Behemoth' on the third, Ruby Dragons on the fourth, and Iron Giants on the fifth.
Eventually you will arrive on the bottom floor with the 10 RSP necessary to bring up whatever the machine down here was trying to retrieve. Before using it however, equip a character with Move-Find to reveal a save point next to it. When you are ready, use the machine to bring up your prize...
ULTIMA WEAPON!
This can be a very hard boss battle if you are unprepared. Do not junction elemental magic to your attack and have at least 70 points for your stats. You may also want to have Meltdown magic (draw from Gayla - Trabia Lv 30+) to reduce the Ultima Weapon's Vit to 0 ; )
Be sure to draw Eden, the final GF and Ultima magic (as much as you can) if you are powerful enough to survive. If not don't worry, but still ensure you get Eden.
