So, I finished this one a little earlier than anticipated and thought that there was no need to hold onto it until next Monday, that doesn't really benefit anyone. So here it is, my penultimate A Realm Remembered taking a look at all the wonderful Trials we experienced in A Realm Reborn.
Few questions I'd love to know the answers to
1. (Obviously) What is your favourite Primal/Trial Theme?
2. What is your favourite Primal/Trial fight?
3. Who is your favourite Primal/Trial from a lore perspective?
Here's my answers:
1. Shiva Phase 1, I know some people love Oblivion but I really feel that Dreams of Ice could have been continued or rearranged for the Final Phase, it was awesome.
2. Titan HM/EX has always been my favourite. Whilst other people in the group can be infuriating, once you learn his mechanics and rotation you can get so much satisfaction from dancing around him and avoiding all his shit.
3. Ramuh. Simply because I love this Sylphs as beastmen, even the tempered ones are really not that aggressive. Ramuh is only summoned to remove others from the Sylph's territories. When compared to other Primals like Ifrit who may have initially been summoned to protect the Amal Jaa now gets his tempered to search far and wide to bring back more people to temper and more crystals to nomm.
A few things to note about the video before someone makes any comments (though I imagine this won't deter them). All of the clips are from the highest level content that the tracks appear (so all the Extreme Modes). I had never cleared an Extreme Mode before starting this video, all these clips are either my first attempt or first clear (+ a few wipes where you see the Echo obviously), this is why others who regularly clear Extremes will see my play and want to scream, just scream to yourselves please (PS. Shiva is particularly bad). Every single one of the clips is from the Duty Finder, so as always, thankyou to the wonderful DF armies being on top form at least some of the time (YES I CLEARED RAMUH IN THE DUTY FINDER WOWEEEE). Next, there's no Titan Phase 3 because A. It doesn't play during Titan Extreme and B. I doubt that's why we're hear now is it. Also, I am aware that lorewise Good King Moggle Mog is not a Primal, but I'm lumping him in with the Primals because I feel that's where he belongs. Finally, I also know that the Maker's Ruin is not played in a trial but in the Praetorium, however the music/fight themselves could be part of a trial, so I threw that in there too. Phew. Anyway thanks for watching.
I do not own the video nor the audio.
