Fave VGM #713: "The Dark One" ~ Anamanaguchi

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is an awesome movie that melds three of my favorite pastimes - comics/manga, movies, & video games - into one surreal experience! It's kind of like a live action No More Heroes without the gratuitous profanity where the Scott Pilgrim fights these original and diverse evil exes of his love interest, Ramona Flowers. The game successfully captures the essence of the movie in a beat-em-up style complete with fluid animation, hilarious video game references, and an amazing soundtrack by the chiptune punk band Anamanaguchi. Here's an awesome example of the game's music: Nega Scott's boss theme. I honestly can't think of a more perfect tune for fight your Shadow Doppelganger to. It's so epic!
