Fantastic Beasts 2 Won’t Explicitly Show That Dumbledore Is Gay

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, David Yates the director of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald was asked if the film will address Dumbledore’s sexuality. Yates responded by saying “Not explicitly. But I think all the fans are aware of that. He had a very intense relationship with Grindelwald when they were young men. They fell in love with each other’s ideas, and ideology and each other.” Jude Law will be playing the young Dumbledore with Johnny Depp reprising the role of Gellert Grindelwald.
