Fallout: New Vegas (PC) - Mortimer's Comments on Cannibalizing Your Companions

This is a rather... unique way of permanently getting rid of one of your human companions, if you ever get tired/bored of them for whatever reason. During the quest "Beyond the Beef", talk to Mortimer and you can offer to sacrifice one of your companions as the main course for the White Gloves to dine on. Yes, you read that right - you don't even need the Cannibal perk to do this. Once you do this, Mortimer will then comment on your choice of companion. If you really want to permanently get rid of one of your companions this way, keep in mind that Mortimer will only accept HUMAN companions - only Cass, Veronica, Boone and Arcade are eligible.
