Faith in God Increased by TRIALS, NOT BIBLE STUDY and Knowledge

Genuine faith in God is NOT increased by Bible study, it's not increased by knowledge or going to school to learn about anything but, true faith in God is increased when your faith is tested by trials and persecution. True faith is increased by life situations that bring you closer to God because you know that God is the ONLY ONE you can rely on. This is what it says in James Chapter 1. "My brethren count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." If you want to be perfect then your faith has to increase, and the ONLY way your faith is increased is when you run to Jesus as your ONLY security. Faith is NOT increased by anything else but by life trials and YOU running to Jesus through those life trials. This morning the Lord spoke to me and He said; "Without faith it is impossible to please God." You can read about that in Hebrews chapter 11. So many people DON'T please God because they don't have true faith. They have faith in people, they have faith in what their pastors are saying and what their favorite commentaries say, they have faith in their Bible but they don't have true faith that has been tested through trials and persecution. They have faith in their bank accounts with their money, they have faith in their family, but they do NOT have true faith in GOD. When their faith is tested, do you think their faith will stand? When your faith is tested will your faith truly stand? Will you continue to love the Lord God with all your heart soul and might? Are you truly a child of God? Are you following Jesus by the Holy Spirit? Is your faith real? Is JESUS real to you? Or is your faith only in knowledge, is your faith only in church, is your faith only in the Bible. May the grace of Jesus be with you.
