Exclusive Interview with South Sudan's Foreign Affairs Minister

South Sudan's foreign affairs minister, Marial Benjamin, has called on the United States and European Union to reconsider their threat of sanctions on Juba. In this exclusive interview with CCTV, Marial called on the international community to promote the peace process in the country. He said Juba is keen to work together with the United Nations and key partners to end the conflict in South Sudan and facilitate humanitarian assistance in the country. Marial also spoke about the role of regional bloc IGAD in helping end the ongoing unrest.
