Here I explain how I like to setup the Excel Visual Basic Editor in an optimum manner to suit my workflow. When coding excel vba I want to understand the structure of memory variables in my project and also see the values that they contain. To do this I ensure that the immediate window is located at the bottom of the Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and the locals window is positioned to the right hand side of the editor.
