First shown on the 20th December 2012 in London at the Reception following the Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral to mark the 600th Anniversary of St Andrews. This celebration of the University's past and present features contributions from graduates from the last 60 years explaining why St Andrews is such a special place. It is named after the University's motto: "aien aristeuein", roughly translated as "ever to be the best". The video features the voice of broadcaster Andrew Neil, who was the Rector of the University between 1999-2002. Other contributions are from the following graduates and staff: 1. Rt Revd John Stroyan, Bishop of Warwick 2. Professor Louise Richardson, Principal and Vice Chancellor of the University 3. Sir Bob Reid 4. Captain Mark Hayhurst 5. Craig Shimmons 6. Emma Cottam 7.
