Speaker 1: Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Access LED light strip, part number A80312. Now let's check it out. We've got our truck bed in complete darkness. I can't find a thing. Once we turn on our light, I can see full view of my truck bed. The Access LED light strip is great for wherever you need light, such as in your shed, boat, toolbox, or even your truck bed.
It can used for either indoor or outdoor use. Both the battery box and the light are water resistant. It's an 18 inch strip that features 30 bright white LED's. The nice thing about the LED's is they're more efficient and there are no bulbs to replace. It features an automatic shut off to prevent it from draining your batteries. This can either be set at three minutes, five minutes, or you can completely disable it.
Please note that if the light is turned off by the timer by itself, you'll have to press the on and off toggle switch twice to reactivate it. Both the battery box and the light strip come with strong automotive grade adhesive, and can be adhered to most clean surfaces. We've got it attached to our spray end bed liner, and it's not coming off. The batter box itself can be permanently mounted, features two holes on each side. You will have to provide your own hardware.
The box measures three and a half inches long by two inches wide. To access the batteries, you'll just need to provide your own Phillips head screwdriver. Here underneath our cover, we have a surrounding rubber seal that's going to prevent moisture from getting inside. Here next to the toggle switch features pins for operating the timer. It has a jumper spacer, which simply clips onto the pins and allows it to work. It's set to the default position, which is three minutes.
It operates on three AA batteries and you will have to provide your own.Now that we've gone over the features, I'm going to go ahead and show you how to get it installed. We're going to be installing ours in the truck bed here today. We're going to mount our box here and our light strip is going to go right around this area. Now, before we peel back the adhesive on the backside, I'm going to go ahead and clean my area up a little bit. I'm just going to take some alcohol here, wipe the area. You do want to let this dry before you start sticking it in place. With the area cleaned up, I'm ready to put it in place. I'm actually going to stick the box in place first, that way it takes the weight off of the light strip. I'll turn it over, and I'm going to peel back the adhesive paper. I'll turn it back over, and I'm just going to line it up with my emblem here.See, that looks pretty good. Give that a good push. It feels like it's good and stuck on there. I don't think it's going anywhere. For mounting the strip, it's a good idea to turn it on and find the location that you want. That way you know you're getting the most out of your light. Once you've found your spot, you can go ahead and turn it off. We'll peel back the paper here, and then we'll stick it in place. Give it a good push, just like we did with our battery box. That's going to do it. Pretty cool. Now, let's try it out. That's going to complete our look at the Access LED light strip, part number A80312.
