After watching a video by Great Scott (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_QBlFIQk-o) I decided to build my own LED matrix without having to cut the strip into lots of pieces as he did. I plan to use this matrix to try out a couple of games using the Bluetooth control available on the ESP32. This will be covered in a future video.
The frame I used is available here in the UK for £8: https://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/black-shadow-box-frame-25cm-x-25cm/633881-1000
The LED strips are WS2812B LEDs with a density of 60 LEDs/m.
The ESP32 board I am using is purchased from eBay for £7 and is available from many different sellers.
