An erotic gay Asian photo book takes aim at sexual racism in a recent LGBTQ+ erotic arts project that asks "are asian gays less sexy"? Gay fashion photographer, West Phillips, spent years photographing gorgeous men for top underwear advertising campaigns. After seeing a lack of Asian representation in the male modelling industry, he decided to turn his lens on the Asian male form. The result is a stunning erotic gay art project dedicated to celebrating Asian male beauty and changing perceptions and attitudes toward gay Asian men. His travels included Bangkok, Thailand, Cambodia and other parts of Asia but we caught up with him in Miami Beach for an in-depth interview about his new gay erotic photo book which features an extraordinary collection of stunning gay male models.
