traditional carnival in eptahori village on the first day of the year... We are wearing goat skins and masks made from coal colour. Tasis halkias is playing epirus music for us... At New Year, every year, in mountainous Eptachori, an ancient custom takes place, a custom that "culture" and modern civilisation failed to alter or destroy! An ancient custom, that unites us with our primitive past and nature, connects us with the community solidarity!
