On February 1st 2017, on my way out for railfanning in Winnipeg, as I passed Fort Rouge Yard, I saw the Letellier Subdivision local working in the yard, with the same great power from Monday*. I knew I had to get and chase them again. I caught them going south on the Letellier, and afterwards started the chase to the industries, on foot again of course. After an exhausting 3.2 km (2 mi) chase, I finally got to the crossing I like to go to on Chevrier Blvd. I decided to stand on a convenient snow bank beside the road. When they crossed, the crew gave me a long horn show! Noticing that they'd switch out another track, I was able to chase them back to Hamelin St. Once they began to approach the crossing, they gave me a shorter horn show, but with the horns of both CN 1405 and CN 7268! After that, I tiredly walked 3.3 km (2.03 mi) back north up the Letellier Subdivision. Between Byng Pl and Windermere St, I eventually caught them returning to Fort Rouge Yard from another snowbank. After another exhausting 3.6 km (2.2 mi) on-foot chase, I was able to catch them leaving Fort Rouge Yard, bound for Symington Yard. That was it for me, as I basically limped home and took a relaxing bath, then a long nap. Enjoy!
