Incidentally an up and coming talented actress from Toyko, is no stranger to mixed martial arts and fight action. Furukawa is a real mixed martial artist and trains with Yori Nakamura the Bruce Lee protege of Japan! Aira Furukawa as an assassin has trained in many other martial arts including Kali, Silat and Wing Chun and with the Blonde female assassin together this dynamic duo make the ball busting action fight scene phenomenal in this action short film that is as good as John Wick and Atomic Blonde on a budget, lol. The female assassin in the coat is the real version of Wonder Woman and Black Widow .No super hero powers just speed, stamina, flexibility and incredible martial arts and self defense training. Aira Furukawa has both incredible versatility in the application of her self defense and mma fighting skills. The Unfortunate Hitman Tokyo Drift is a perfectly stylish action sequence and the fight scene created by former Lionsgate/Starz Fight Choreographer Ray Khan in this perfectly enjoyable straight up fight action flick where the lady shows her fighting skills in ball busting comedy, is intense. Admittedly the sillier sections and the absurdity of the premises upon which the attacks are based on are just as clueless as the super hero and avenger movies today. The Unfortunate Hitman is not winning any awards for his portrayal of a Hitman for hire but in this non existent dialogue short action film it’s a smart and coherent story just like Fast and Furious 7, unlike Fast and Furious 7 the ambience is in the realistic filming in Tokyo Japan which would bring us back to Tokyo Drift but without cars in yet another epic fail at assassination! While contract killing is a form of murder and presents serious business this action comedy flips the idea of serious business on its side or on its head and makes the serious business of murder into a laugh you to death adrenaline pusher . Sexy girls, bad ass guys, all throwing punching and kicks and of course the guys are all epic fails despite their phenomenal qualifications as martial artists and fighters. Other than John Wick all the other action films star actors are not fighters nor martial artists. It is male vs female in this savagely realistic fight which is not bloody or terribly graphic but shows what in reality a good groin kick can do as these female martial artists beat up a criminal that stalks them. There is no over kill and the Unfortunate Hitman does not need to get hit with a toaster in the head to go down . When was the last time you boys got a solid kick to the balls?
