Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo was all girl power when discussing Patrick Dempsey leave the show. During her interview on the Ellen Show, Pompeo commented on the show’s success after Dempsey left saying, quote “It’s amazing how much you can get done without a penis.” After the crowd’s laughter subsided, on a more serious note Pompeo said "We miss him dearly, but yeah, the show is doing very well." The medical drama star explained that she understands why viewers were so upset, but major changes in the show are what keep the viewers interests.
