Elite Qualifier - Whitney Bjerken Gymnastics

Whitney and 2 of her teammates headed to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina for the Myrtle Beach Gymnastics Cup - Elite Qualifier. Nobody was sure if Whitney was ready for the event (not even Whitney) because she had only completed the entire compulsory bars routine once in her life, a week and a half ago. Whitney needed to score a 33.0 or better in the all around in order to qualify. Whitney did great! She successfully completed her bar routine (for the second time in her life) and managed to not fall off of any of the other gymnastics equipment! She scored a 34.95 in the all around which was good enough to qualify for HOPES! Both of Whitney’s teammates did great and qualified as well!
