WWW.SAMMYGONZALEZ.COM For years I've been wanting to go to NY and study with Kevin Gallagher. This summer I finally took the 5 day trip to the city. I had the pleasure of practicing at the Gibson show room during the day and taking a lesson with Kevin for three nights in a row. It was definitely an inspiring and uplifting experience. From NY I took a train to Philadelphia and met up with my good friend Mike Gallagher. We filmed the video performance section of this video at Saint Joseph's University. He definitely had his hands full working two cameras, playback, mic recording, and lighting all by his lonesome. The following morning, Mike and I took a train back to NY and met up with Marla Phelan. A beautiful and talented modern dance artist and graduate of Juilliard, who wowed us with her graceful presence. Back in my hometown Miami, I had Cyrus Bolooki mix down the music, while Mike finished up the cuts and edits and whola! Here it is... It was busy, hectic, and even a little crazy, but truly a fantastic and memorable trip. I'm very happy to have this video to always remind of my little adventure. Thank you for watching.
