El Caballo Blanco and the Anzol Paint Factory - Abandoned Places - Sydney, NSW -April 21, 2014

Rare, magical ex-places existing in a temporary, twilight world. Sadly, I suspect that it won't be long before the peace of what was El Caballo Blanco will be shattered forever when the developers move in and turn what is, for now, a place where nature can thrive into another McMansion estate full of soulless houses.... And the Anzol Paint Factory? Not the sort of place for a Sunday afternoon picnic, but the desolation and decay and some amazing graffiti gives it a certain something.... For now. But, like El Caballo Blanco, if the surrounding residential area is anything to go by, I imagine that valuable piece of land has been earmarked and will make millions for someone when it is flattened to make way for more blocks of concrete units....
