ΕΚΠΑΙΔΕΥΣΗ ΑΛΟΓΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΑΝΘΡΩΠΩΝ - HORSE AND HUMAN TRAINING

Ελληνικά (For info in English scroll down) Στο video αυτό παρουσιάζονται τεχνικές από την εκπαίδευση με τα άλογά Μάρκο (άσπρο, ελληνικό -- θεσσαλικό άλογο) και Ράδο (ορφνό, thoroughbred). Τα άλογα συνεργάζονται σε συνεδρίες θεραπευτικής ιππασίας με τον Δανιήλ Δανιλόπουλο (παιδοψυχίατρο) και την Πηνελόπη Σαράφη (βρεφονηπιοκόμο, φυσικοθεραπεύτρια) οι οποίοι έχουν εκπαιδευτεί στον Σύνδεσμο Θεραπευτικής Ιππασίας Ελλάδας ως συντονιστές θεραπευτικής ιππασίας βασικού επιπέδου. Για την εκπαίδευση με τα άλογα δεν χρησιμοποιούνται στομίδες. Δίνεται μεγάλη έμφαση στην καλλιέργεια εμπιστοσύνης μεταξύ αλόγων και ανθρώπων. Οι εκπαιδευτές προσπαθούν να ανταποκρίνονται συντονισμένα, ευαίσθητα και κατάλληλα στην μη λεκτική επικοινωνία των αλόγων (ανάγκες, επιθυμίες και φόβους που τα άλογα εκφράζουν μέσα από την γλώσσα του σώματός τους) ώστε να τα βοηθούν να εξοικειώνονται με τα εργαλεία, τις συνθήκες και τις ιδιαιτερότητες της θεραπευτικής ιππασίας και να ακολουθούν πρόθυμα τις υποδείξεις και προτάσεις τους, χωρίς να εξαναγκάζονται. Οι τεχνικές που παρουσιάζονται είναι συνδυασμός μεθόδων που o Δανιήλ και η Πηνελόπη διδάχτηκαν από τον Nihad Ibrahem, κλινικό ψυχολόγο εξειδικευμένο στην θεραπευτική ιππασία στη Γερμανία, που έμαθαν από σεμινάρια και video του γητευτή Franklin Levinson και που γνώρισαν από βιβλία και video της Linda Tellington-Jones. The horses cooperate in therapeutic riding sessions with Daniil Danilopoulos (a child and adolescent psychiatrist) and Pinelopi Sarafi (a preschooler's teacher and physiotherapist), who are both trained as basic level therapeutic riding instructors at the Greek Association of Therapeutic Riding. We do not use bits during the training sessions with our horses. We put great emphasis in developing trust between horses and people. The trainers are trying to respond contingently, sensitively and appropriately to the non verbal communication of horses (the wishes, desires and fears that the horses express through their body language) in order to assist them to habituate to the equipment, the conditions and the particularities of therapeutic riding and to follow willingly their suggestions without the use of force. The presented techniques are combinations of methods that Daniil and Pinelopi were taught by Nihad Ibraheem (a clinical psychologist specialised in therapeutic riding in Germany), learned from seminars and videos of the horse whisperer Franklin Levinson and studied from books and videos of Linda Tellington-Jones.
