Einstein Parrot growls & wrestles with the dust pan and broom

One day after sweeping the floor, Einstein decided to get even with the dust pan and broom! His fierce growl sounds threatening and in the wild African greys use this behavior to ward off predators. Einstein certainly doesn’t like the broom, but after giving it a piece of his mind he now allows it to remain in the pantry. Of course, it also means a trip to the store to purchase a new one! ? Einstein Parrot is a very talkative African Grey Parrot! He lives with us in our home in Texas and was hatched on June 15, 1997. Einstein is a silly, smart, and popular parrot who loves to talk and entertain! He is famous for his impression of Matthew McConaughey, (http://youtu.be/WecS9-3ISkk) NOT the "Einstein" that was featured on the TV show Animal Planet. He likes to talk on various "parrot approved areas" in our home, such as the kitchen drawer, the shower, kitchen chairs, napkin holders, and of course his play perches! Einstein has brought much joy to our lives, but training and living with a parrot requires time, patience and sacrifice.
