October was National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in North Dakota. One in eight women in the state will be diagnosed with this disease. Eide Ford Lincoln and Eide Chrysler raised money for the Bismarck Cancer Center by donating $50 for every vehicle sold at each store during the month of October. Both dealerships reported record months in sales with Eide Ford selling 208 vehicles reaching a donation of $10,400 and Eide Chrysler selling 160 vehicles donating $8,000 for a total donation of $18,400 to the Bismarck Cancer Center. The funds will be used to help individuals at the Bismarck Cancer Center for treatment and recovery. President and General Manager Jesse Peterson was very happy with the efforts at both stores and the contribution."We all know someone who's been effected by cancer.
