Education CS Matiang'i to review textbook distribution for schools

Education Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang’i has called for radical review of the textbook distribution method under the free basic education programme. Dr. Matiangi says the current method was full of serious accountability issues, noting that student to book ratio was about 5:1 despite the billions of shillings the government was pumping into schools.
