The miniature replica of the Seven wonders of the world are at Gate No 4 at Eco Park, Nababpur, Kolkata in India. Petra is a famous archaeological site in Jordan's southwestern desert. Petra originally known as Raqmu, lies on the slope of Jabal Al-Madbah in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah valley that run from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. Dating to around 300 B.C., it was the capital of the Nabatean Kingdom.The Nabataeans were nomadic Arabs. Accessed via a narrow canyon called Al Siq, it contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname, the "Rose City." Perhaps its most famous structure is 45m-high Al Khazneh, a temple with an ornate, Greek-style facade, and known as The Treasury. The Eco Tourism Park at Newtown in Kolkata houses the replica of the following wonders of the world:- The Great Pyramid of Giza (Egypt); The Colosseum of Rome (Italy); The Great Wall of China (China); Petra in Jordan (Jordon); Moai of Easter Island (Chile); Christ the Redeemer(Brazil) and The Tajmahal (India).
