Ebenezer Joseph finds that chess makes children more creative and intelligent

Ebenezer Joseph is Principal Investigator, Department of Science and Technology based in Chennai, India. His keynote talk was titled Thinking Outside the Box – Enhancing Creativity with Chess Instruction. Following a visit to the London Chess Conference in 2014 he was inspired to undertake PhD research into chess and creativity. He has made some fascinating findings including that girls potentially benefit more than boys.
