Duratrax Evader EXT2 - 3S LiPo - Tacon 3200KV Brushless

Showing how to upgrade a Duratrax Evader EXT2 (running stock Gear Box) to run on a 3S Lipo 5000mAh from SkyLipo, HobbyWing EzRun 60A-ESC and Tacon 36mm x 50mm x 3200 KV motor. On 2S, I was getting confirmed speeds of 33mph, unfortunately I could not reasonably maintain control of the car to get actual speed recordings with the same portable GPS system without concern for damaging the GPS. I would estimate that the car can briefly reach 50mph before going airborne because it sits too high off the ground. I do NOT recommend running a 3S Lipo in your Evader unless you want to risk breaking it, only do so at your own risk, I have only uploaded this video to show you the problems I have experienced with the lack of control due to the insane speed and torque generated from a 3S LiPo battery pack. The only mechanical failure I experienced with the 3S system was breaking the hub off one of the rear wheels while holding the car in the air and quickly giving full throttle for a wheel spin test as shown in the video. Lesson learned: DO NOT ever go full throttle with a 3S in a sudden burst, you must gradually add throttle to prevent breaking any parts.
