Playing online, allows up to 4 players to play simultaneously, using the local savegame of the host, not their own saves, though. It also allows 2 local players on each online player (eg. client joins host, 2 players playing on local machine, 2 players playing on host machine). Great game for joystick, horrible for keyboard + mouse.
