At 12pm, Thursday 21st May, 2015, Dublin’s Henry Street jumped to life with music, dance, laughter and smiles as Dublin people were embraced by the Dublin2020 team’s #DublinDances Dance Party for Temple Street CUH. The street rocked all day showing Dublin’s great spirit, friendliness, diversity, and love of Dublin culture and fun. Dublin is preparing to bid to be the European Capital of Culture in 2020. The Dance Party shows how Dublin can be brought together and unified through a common purpose. The Dublin2020 Bid is about everyone who calls Dublin home. This is about you, your city, your wishes, and your future. It goes without saying that the super talented dancers from all over the world made the day a success but it would have been a lonely stage without the incredible Dublin people.
