Dubai International Airport (DXB) ( مطار دبي الدولي‎) is not only one of the busiest airports in the middle east and in the Gulf region but also in the entire world. It is the busiest airport in the world in terms of international passenger traffic. What I like in terminal 1 of DXB is that passengers arrive at the pre-departure building where they check-in, after which they proceed to the immigration counters. From there, trains that depart every 5 minutes bring the passengers to the departure building, which is already at the interior part of the airport, where the departure gates are located. In the departure area, passengers can buy items at the Dubai Duty-Free shops, and eat and drink at restaurants and cafes or avail of lounge facilities if they are business class or VIP passengers.
