Our Urology Program treats urologic diseases and defects in children of all ages medically and surgically. Our Urology Program is led by John Kryger, MD. Advanced specialty services available to urology patients include radiology, anesthesiology, surgery, nephrology, oncology, neonatal intensive care and pediatric intensive care.
Dr. Kryger’s philosophy of care is to ensure that any child is cared for exactly as if it were his own child. He spends a great deal of time ensuring the patient and family clearly understands the illness, the possible causes, the potential consequences and the treatment options. Finally, he helps families seek non-surgical solutions for the condition, but when surgery becomes necessary he offers the least invasive approach and the highest level of expertise.
Dr. Kryger's areas of interest include ambiguous genitalia, bladder Exstrophy Epispadias, hypospadias, neurogenic bladder, urology and urogenital sinus anomalies.
