Donkey Kong 64 Playthrough Part 28

In this part, we collect many of Diddy Kong's items in Creepy Castle, only needing the Banana Medal, which we'll get in the next part (the Bananas are a pain to find here as Diddy). These are the items obtained in this part: Golden Banana #166: Slam the Diddy Switch as.. well.. Diddy to make the Ballroom door open up. Enter the Ballroom, and kill all of the enemies there for a Diddy Barrel to appear. Using it, light up all of the candles with the exhaust flames, then fly into the Bonus Barrel. Play "Minecart Mayhem!" (which was much easier for me this time) for a Golden Banana. Blueprint #36: Enter the basement of the castle, and kill the red-haired Kasplat as Diddy. Simply grab its Blueprint afterwards. Golden Banana #167: This is an easy one to get. In the basement, make your way to the skull as Diddy, and shoot the Peanut Switch to open the skull's mouth. Inside, take the path that leads to the tilted Peanut Switch, then shoot it. You need to Chimpy Charge the switches on the coffin in order (1, 2, 3, 4) for a Golden Banana to come out of it. Golden Banana #168: In the sub-basement, enter the door with the bars on it, then make your way to the red Diddy Switch. Slam it, then enter the new passage. You will see a Peanut Switch out in the distance. Use the Sniper Mode to shoot at it. This will lower the chains. Afterwards, swing from chain to chain until you reach the Banana. Blueprint #37: Simply kill the green-haired Kasplat in the sub-basement as Chunky, then take its Blueprint. Golden Banana #169: Using the Diddy Barrel near the second Bananaport Pad (green), fly up to the top of the castle and enter the Bonus Barrel. Win "Big Bug Bash!" for a Golden Banana. Golden Banana #170: Trade Snide the Blueprint we got near Creepy Castle's entrance as Diddy for a Golden Banana. Golden Banana #171: Trade Snide the Blueprint we got earlier in this area as Diddy for a Golden Banana.
