Don't worry- they're just playing! My Doberman has EXTREME STAMINA. Nothing can stop her. She's agile, quick, and quite a formidable match! CLICK SHOW MORE
I was on the other side of the fence filming the sheep when Sugar Tree and Chomby took center stage. :) They play well together and I think they really enjoy each others' company.
I put them both in the backyard together about every other day so they can play. They wear each other out so much, that Sugar Tree sleeps like a rock. She's so gentle with Pancake and the lambs, but all bets are off when she and Chomby play-fight.
Sorry about some of the sketchy through-the-fence- filming. But I love watching them play, you can't find two happier dogs. They are just so full of joy.

Doberman Pinscher - They're the only breed bred specifically as a personal protection dog. They're strong, fast, and extremely agile. She's just playing here, but you can see Dobermans are fierce and full of tenacity. In the house, Sugar Tree, the Doberman, is calm and gentle and regularly plays with my cat, Pancake. But now that she has a big dog to play with she can finally let go! The best of both worlds!
Kangal aka Anatolian/Çoban Köpeği - A tough breed originating in Turkey for the purpose of guarding livestock. Kangals are big, strong and independent. A formidable breed capable of taking on wolves. She's still a puppy in this video, so she still has a lot of filling out to do.
At my place this big girl works tirelessly to make sure her sheep are safe. No one gets into the yard without her approval.
She's a full-time outside dog and I sleep better at night knowing she's patrolling the property. At only 6 months old I watched her during early morning hours run a coyote out of the yard and let me tell you that coyote was lucky he was quick about!
She came from a breeder specializing in raising dogs for Livestock guarding. She was born with sheep and spent the first 4 months of her life learning the ropes at her breeder's sheep ranch before she came to me. Thousands of years of instinct let her know exactly what to do!
