This is an easy and very inexpensive, and quite effective DIY snail trap for your aquarium.
I've noticed that the traps will not be as effective after each use. I suspect that the snails release a stress hormone or something. If I remove the trap and bleach it after emptying it, the next catch will be much more successful.
