A video log of the kitchen renovation process. Using a Kitset kitchens flatpack kitchen, I installed the new kitchen in around about 50 hours (spread over several weeks, working on it on weekends or evenings).. There is no footage of the benchtop guys installing the stonework, due to technical difficulties (forgot to turn on the cam..). The old kitchen was ripped out in around 3 or 4 hrs, and chucked into a 12 cubic meter skip bin. Everything went relatively smoothly, except for a couple of items from Kitset which were wrong (one cupboard's dimensions had been cut incorrectly, so I had to disassemble, wait for the replacement and re-assemble), and there were a few items that were not included in the packs (drawer hardware). Drawers use the Hettich soft-close system; really easy to put together, really nice closing action. Pull-out pantry works really well and was a fiddly to put together and get all the levels right, but certainly possible to do as a single-person job.
