This controller is based on the Ablis controller chip designed by Bas Putter. The controller offers several modes, sensor, sensorless and Field Oriented Control (FOC). This controller was designed to hopefully handle around 20kW. It uses 24 IRFB4115 MOSFETs which should allow me to run 200A. So far all tests have been done at 200A phase with battery current limiting around 100A. New videos to follow showing higher power, 75V and 100V at 200A battery and phase amps as I continue testing. A design is already complete which is much smaller and attractive, it's also higher power with a target of 300A using 18 IRFP4568 MOSFETs.
All PCBs are my own design. Gate driver and power design was done with the help of a pro teaching me. Schematics and board layouts available on endless-sphere.com.
