DigiTech EX7 Expression Factory Walkthru, Part Two: Synth Swells And Princely Tones

Heading back to the DigiTech vault, located in the sub-sub-basement of the EX7 Expression Factory, we uncovered a few vintage DigiTech guitar effects in pristine condition. The first was the XP300 Space Station Synth Swell, a mouthful of a name, and a double handful of an effect. It combines pitch shift, chorus, delay and an auto-volume envelope to create some seriously spacey sounds. After that, we brushed off an old DigiTech Whammy, one of the most popular pitch-shifters around. Both these pedals were sitting next to a few classic distortion boxes, so we plugged 'em in to see what crazy tones of yesteryear we could conjure.
