In this video I’ll give you a quick overview of the armor and weapon rarity in Diablo 3. Weapons and armor fall under five types of rarities in the game, four of them considered to be tiers one through four and one separate overall rarity. The first tier weapons and armor pieces are silver common items. These items can mostly be found from loot drops and will mainly serve as loot to sell and salvage. Tier 2 items are blue magic weapons and armor. A little more powerful than common items that can be purchased and found, these pieces will serve you well in the beginning of the game. Tier 3 items are yellow and are labelled as rare pieces. Rare weapons and armor can be really good, especially if you find pieces suitable for your level. Level 70 rare items are really good and are useful in any part of the game. The highest tiered items are legendary, as they are hard to find and rarely drop. These pieces are orange and have the best stats and bonus effects. There’s also the class armor which is labelled green, green armor is amazing when paired with all of the right armor pieces, but it’s pretty tough completing a whole set.
