Dia De Los Muertos Aztec Dancers, Oakland CA 11.8.15

These were the Aztec dancers at the Dia De Los Muertos Festival in Oakland CA on November 8th, 2015. Festival was at Fruitvale Village at the Fruitvale BART station. We were amazed at the skill, agility and athleticism of the dancers. This is just a small portion of their dance, they went on like this for more than 40 minutes! Very impressive, especially in bare feet on rough concrete ground! This one dancer in the pink and blue headpiece was incredibly talented and had excellent showmanship. The crowd loved him. We were in awe that he headpiece did not fall off despite being whipped around when he whirled and danced. Awesome festival, totally recommend checking it out if you are in the Bay Area!
