Destiny HOW the NEW VOICE CHAT WORKS Fireteam Chat Team Chat Strike Chat In the latest Bungie weekly update, the developer has detailed what will happen with voice chat in "Destiny." This week, patch 1.03 will bring new ways to talk to other Guardians. The first is via Fireteam Chat, a feature already accessible to Destiny players, which allows them to chat with a pre-formed party. The other is via Team Chat, which is a new channel that lets you talk to players whom you have encountered in Matchmaking. This is apart from the Fireteam, which you are already chatting with. Team Chat is available via the Navigation Mode in "Destiny." Upon entering Navigation Mode, there will be a user interface on the lower right area of the screen. This UI will have the directional button icons, text and icons for current channel and the highlights for available chat options.
