In her comeback season after she tore her ACL, Desiree Cheng helped her team to reach another Finals appearance as they defeated the UST Golden Tigresses in the semi-finals. Des' contribution was also crucial in the Game 1 of the Finals as the DLSU Lady Spikers won against the ADMU Lady Eagles in four sets.
