dell Inspiron N7110: dealing with a dead hard drive

This computer was brought to the clinic in Cambridge by a customer, and unbeknownst to all of us until later, it actually has a dead hard drive. You can hear the clicking possibly if you listen closely enough. This video shows the bios of the system and us trying to figure out where the hard drive was located inside the machine itself.The customer ended up donating the laptop until someone was comfortable fixing it, in hopes that it would one day be donated back to her.
