Dell 3007WFP-HC resolutions above 1280x800 problem lines on screen dual link DVI cable to FIX

THE SOLUTION was a WORKING dual link dvi cable. The first ones I got were defective. If you are using a single link cable, this is exactly what will happen. Using a Geforce 8800 Ultra (also tested on another computer with 9800GT) and a dual link DVI-D cable, anything above 1280x800 produces garbled colored lines as seen in the video. Different resolutions produce different patterns. 1280x800 and below displays properly. Trying to understand whether this is a faulty monitor or something else is at play here.
