A deleted scene after EVE is shocked by Auto instead of Wall-E. "Though it takes years to develop and animate a Pixar movie, it wasn't until the sequence was nearly finished that Stanton and his crew realized that the scene would work better if WALL*E himself suffered the injury, not EVE."
