Degreeing Camshafts Part 1

Its time we start tearing down the motor after years of dependable service. There is nothing wrong with the motor and it has not experienced a failure. However, there is still a lot that can be learned from the teardown process to ensure a good service life. This episode covers removing all the accessories and basically bringing the motor down to a long block. We venture into degreeing the camshafts but we need a few special tools to perform this task. We cover the fabrication of these tools and how they work. Now all thats left is to take a few measurements. Happy Boosting
