Katsudon (カツ丼) is a popular Japanese food, a bowl of rice topped with a deep-fried pork cutlet, egg, vegetables, and condiments. The dish gets its name from the Japanese words tonkatsu (for pork cutlet) and donburi (for rice bowl dish).
