Deadpool 2 Post-Credits Scene Was Cut for Being Too Gruesome

Adam Chitwood at Collider.com wrote an article detailing the Deadpool 2 post credits scene that Rhett Reese and Chris Wernick wrote showing Deadpool killing the baby version of Adolf Hitler. This is according to an interview that the writers gave Uproxx about how they scripted the scene. They also claim that the scene was actually shot and that it was cut after the audience reacted negatively to it. The article further states that the writers had sought to get Chris Evans to reprise his role as the Human Torch from The Fantastic Four so he could audition to be part of X-Force. They ended up going in a different direction with a famous cameo in that scene as you will see in the movie.
