DCUO Spring Event 2015: Bark Skin

A look back at the Bark Skin, first released as part of the DCUO Springtime Seasonal Event 2015. The Bark Skin is only available during the DCUO Springtime Seasonal Event. It can be purchased off the Springtime Seasonal Rewards Vendor at a cost of 100x Seed Pods. As the name suggests, The Bark Skin is a Skin style for the base Skin of your character. The base colour of the Bark Skin can be altered by adjusting the "Skin" colour in the Colours tab of the Styles screen. The highlights can be adjusted by modifying the "Makeup" colour on the same screen. Alternatively, you can remove the highlights by making them the same colour as your Skin. Wearing no armour styles works well with this skin, but combining the skin with styles which have areas exposing the skin allow you to create some cool looking characters. The Bark Skin also compliments the Forest Spirt style, which had parts released in both 2017 and 2018. Only 4 pieces of the Forest Spirit style have been released and the Head isn't one of them. Whilst not perfect, you can make a decent complimentary style using the Bark Skin. There are no feats attached to this style. It's purely cosmetic and optional. Thanks for watching!
