Darin shows his support for Kurdistan (26/8/2014)

Though I myself haven't experienced it, but I still have grown up with it somehow (thru my parents, relatives ...). I think it's horrible that it still happens today - 2014! It feels very sad. But hopefully we can help a little bit at least with this gala and collect a coin or two. Helping the refugees who have manage to escape. - I sang here (at the same place) for a couple of years ago, for Halabja - a city in Kurdistan. Where my parents have their origin from, where people committed murder after murder.. So it will be a bit special to sing here (again) today, a few years later. When the same thing still happens today, in that field. - I think, personally I will be touched to hear what others have to say about it. There are those who will talk who have relatives, which is hostage, is on the run ... So it will be very emotional but also very beautiful at the same time.
