Wiping away tears from her eyes, the now-former Dallas County Assistant District Attorney Jody Warner broke her silence on Tuesday, telling reporters that she was sorry for her foul-mouthed tirade directed at an Uber driver - but also defending her actions. ‘I embarrassed my family, I embarrassed myself. That is not who I am,’ she told members of the media in the wake of her firing. ‘I want to apologize for my language to the district attorney’s office for embarrassing the office that I love very much and respect very much.’ Warner, 32, was let go on Monday by Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson after Uber driver Shaun Platt released an audio recording from Friday night, in which the prosecutor could be heard berating him and hurling expletives.
